libcdio-cdda1 software package provides library to read and control digital audio CDs, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio-cdda1
libcdio-cdda1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio-cdda1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio-cdda1 *
You will get with libcdio-cdda1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
